Legion of Mary

Saint Monica Parish is proud to begin our own Legion of Mary group.  We are welcoming members for either Active or Auxiliary participation.  The Legion is an international lay apostolate group which completes works for Conservation (religious education, fostering Catholic devotions within the parish), Consolation (visitation to the home bound, nursing homes, and prisons, along with bereavement support), and Conversion (friendly contact with others in the community).

Cultivating the spiritual formation of its members through the regular prayer and weekly meetings, active members are sent out in pairs to serve the spiritual needs of the parish and the larger community.  Active members must be 18 or older and able to attend weekly meetings along with completing 2 hours of Legion work.

Meetings are held on Tuesdays from 7:00pm to 8:30pm in Joseph’s Room at the Chippewa Site.

Auxiliary members are open to individuals of every age and provide vital assistance to the Legion through daily prayer.
